Kaya is a sweet dog. She is completely deaf and will need someone with the experience to handle her. She will be required to have a fenced backyard because of this. As far as personality, Kaya is sweet. She is awkward around other dogs as she was never socialized (we believe) as a puppy. She does well if introduced properly to a new dog. She has never offered to bite or lung at anyone. She can startle easy if she is sleeping so young young children need to be taught how to wake her up. Jack is the opposite of his sister. He can be adventurous, but he also prefers to just be by his human. He can be quiet and will tend to not choose to be adventurous unless he is following his sister or human foster. He tends to stay back from the pack and just enjoys his time alone. Meet McKinzie, a lovable blue eyed baby who loves to be with her humans. She needs a person who is home most of the time. She gets lonely and loves to be with her human more then being alone. She does have separation anxiety. A crate for 8 hours a day is not what this baby wants in her life. She would do best in a home where her human is home all the time or only would leave her for little chunks at a time. She would do best in a home where she is walked daily or exercised daily. She would do best with a home that has another dog she can play with. Though her age on paper work says 2 years old, I believe she is a little younger. Cinder came from the Gallup Shelter. Her mom gave birth by c-section, but due to unforeseen problems she passed away during surgery. Cinder and her siblings have been hand raised since then. She has an awesome personality and is a very loving pup. Would thrive in a home where she can have a kid to play with or an active family. She can be calm but also has enough energy to play. Has been in a foster home with children and other dogs and done great. Probably could be introduced to cats and have no problems but has not been introduced to one at her current foster home. Everyone meet Mollie. She has been dealt a horrible beginning in life. Poor baby would like a lap to sleep in and a warm house to live in. Molly is dog selective if introduced properly and slowly she would be just fine. She was beaten up by dogs and is deathly afraid of being attacked again. She is learning to trust other dogs right now and has done amazing at her foster home with the dogs living there. People are no problem. This girl loves anyone. Bendie is a sweet boy. He has a birth defect on one of his front paws but don't let that fool you. He can run and play just like any other dog. He is young, and rambunctious. Needs an active home. Would do well in a home with a kid he can run off the energy with. As for the leg? Right now it is no problem. Later in life it may have to be addressed. It was brought to our attention that a puppy might have been set on fire so we raced to go get him. Dillon was in bad shape when we got him in 1/27/16. We let him rest for the night and took him straight to the vet the next morning. To our relief it was found he had mange. Relief... why? some might ask. Well it being mange meant this pup, although in rough shape, could make a full recovery and him not being burned was a relief. We have made a group on facebook to show his road to recovery. Ben is the gentle giant of the rescue. He is very sweet boy. He was brought into the rescue after being caught by a shelter worker who just didn't have the heart to take him to the shelter. He had a rubber band wound around his tail and unfortunantly it had not fallen off. He was suffering from a sever infection and needed the tail amputated. Well after the surgery this boy is doing well. He needs to be neutered and we plan to get that done Febuary 20th. He will also finish up on the shots then as well. Annie is a sweetheart. She is a young dog with a personality. Found on the streets and living at the Casino, this girl had the want to be loved by people. We were called to help get her off the streets and it has been fun watching this girl learn the life of a treasured pet and not a stray. She needs some basic obedience training but give this girl a home and people that love her she would be a valuable memeber to your family. Will be getting spayed Feb 20th.
